Define Your Needs

The only acceptable solution worldwide to clean Windows, PV Panels and other smooth surfaces is by using of pure water. Row (feed) water has to be purified through reverse osmosis (RO) or deionization (DI) process.

The  right choice of the process for water purification depends on feed water quality and pure water quantity is needed to be used for the cleaning purposes. In general, when we need large quantities of pure water and we aim to decrease operational costs, reverse osmosis systems are the only way of purification. For light commercial applications with approx. 100 ppm of TDS feed tap water pressurized at least 3.0 bars, DI Systems of PFS could be your choice.

In order to define your needs firstly you have to know the quality, the pressure  and the quantity of the water in the area you work and secondly to define the number of PV panel cleaners. The following Q&A will help you to take the right decision on RO or DI or RODI system that matches to your needs.

THE RIGHT CHOICE ON RODI SERIES

Q1. Is there potable tap water? Yes.

Q2. Is potable tap water pressurized more than 2 bars and at tap flow rate at least 1,000 l/h? Yes.

A1. Direct connection to RODI Blue Series

Q2. Is potable tap water pressurized more than 2 bars and at flow rate at least 1,000 l/h? No.

A2. Use: feed water storage tank-delivery feed pump and connect to RODI Blue Series

Q1. Is there potable tap water? No.

A3. Use: feed water storage tank-delivery feed pump and connect to RODI Black Series

THE RIGHT CHOICE ON RODI MODEL

Answers are based on the scenario that all operators can work at the same time, at 10m height and 100m distance from RODI machines.

Q1. How many operators are going to work? One (1).

A1. Your choice is RODI 1

Q2. How many operators are going to work? Two (2).

A2. Your choice is RODI 2 or your choice could be RODI 1 adding a pure water delivery system with two outlets.

Q3. How many operators are going to work? Three (3).

A3. Your choice is RODI 3 or your choice could be RODI 2 adding a pure water delivery system with three outlets.

Q4. How many operators are going to work? Four (4).

A4. Your choice is RODI 3 adding a pure water delivery system with four outlets.

THE RIGHT CHOICE ON DI SYSTEM

Q1. Is there potable tap water? Yes.

Q2. Does potable tap water have 100-150 ppm of TDS? Yes.

Q3. Is it pressurized at least of 2.5 bars? Yes.

A.  Choose one of our portable DI Systems or cart DI Systems that fulfills your needs.
